Jennifer Aniston reveals the one thing co-star 'hated' while filming Friends
Jennifer Aniston has shared an interesting tidbit about her time on the iconic sitcom “Friends,” revealing that one of her co-stars had a strong dislike for a specific aspect of the filming process.

During a recent interview, Aniston reminisced about the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the beloved show. She disclosed that David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller, had a particular aversion to working with Marcel, the monkey who appeared in several episodes during the show’s first season.

Aniston explained that while the monkey, whose real name was Katie, was adored by many of the cast and crew, Schwimmer found the experience less enjoyable. The primary reason for his discomfort was the disruption that Marcel often caused during filming.

Katie, like any trained animal, required a lot of attention and specific handling to perform her scenes correctly. This often led to delays and multiple takes, which frustrated Schwimmer as it disrupted the flow of the scenes and added an extra layer of complexity to the already demanding shooting schedule.

Aniston’s revelation offers a glimpse into the challenges and unexpected hurdles the cast faced while creating the show that would go on to become a cultural phenomenon. Despite these minor inconveniences, “Friends” remained a huge success, and Schwimmer’s portrayal of Ross Geller became iconic, monkey troubles notwithstanding.

This behind-the-scenes story adds another layer to the rich tapestry of anecdotes that fans of “Friends” cherish, highlighting the realities of working with animal co-stars in the entertainment industry.
