In a bid to relieve her pain, Alexander stepped in with an unexpected solution. “We decided that my husband was going to try drinking the milk to relieve me,” she said.

IAt first, Rachel and Alexander felt apprehensive about the concept. “We had some apprehensions about him breastfeeding from me, but once we tried it, we discovered it was completely fine,” she shared.

Rachel expressed that the moment Alexander latched on brought her an overwhelming sense of relief. What started as a way to ease discomfort evolved into something far more impactful.

The couple quickly realized that breastfeeding enhanced their connection. “It fostered a unique connection between us, one that we wouldn’t have experienced had we not embarked on this journey,” Rachel remarked.

Alexander also observed surprising advantages to his health. Rachel asserted that her husband has not experienced a cold in more than two years since he started consuming her breast milk.

Additionally, people began to compliment Alexander on his improved skin. “So many people said his skin was so much better too,” Rachel said, emphasizing the benefits of breast milk.

As their comfort with the practice grew, it became a regular part of their routine. Alexander would drink Rachel’s breast milk three to four times a day.

Rachel cherished the quality time they spent together during these moments. “I love breastfeeding him as it allows us to spend quality time together,” she shared.

Breastfeeding even became part of their daily meals. “I would breastfeed him at breakfast, lunch, and dinner,” Rachel explained.

However, as Rachel’s milk production decreased, so did the frequency of breastfeeding. “I’m only breastfeeding him at night now,” she said.
